Shaping the future of the next generation through skill enhancement and leadership
Project Pehchan aims to work closely with stakeholders in schools especially teachers and principals to ensure that they create platforms in schools where children have the opportunities to learn about careers from activities like career exhibitions, career clubs and presentations from experts from different sectors. It also engages with the parents to build their capacity in positive parenting skills, exposure to different educational and career options, and the ways to improve the communication with their children. All these initiatives lead to creating a conducive environment at home, school and in the community.
WHAT WE DO IN Pehchan
This project Pehchan is available to aspirants between the age of 10 to 25 years. Career Development, Mentoring Support and Placement opportunities are also provided to help convert their passion into gainful employment
Post the training program, the youths are supported through interview and placement process and are monitored for the first 6 months into their jobs. Parent meetings, exposure visits, extra-curricular activities and mentoring by volunteers from the corporate provide students with an environment to focus on developing their skills and transforming their passion into gainful employment.
A team of experienced and passionate trainers conduct high quality, interactive and result oriented developmental interventions. They also promote and enrol aspirants for Language, Personality development, Digital Skills through its partners and help in their placements through corporate internships. Project Pehchan also has Programs to Connect, Partner, Engage, Empower & Unite youths to prepare them for the common purpose of solving local to community issues. It also helps them build & sustain a network of youth-led teamwork to Generate opportunities for their communities.
